Dress Code
The City of Southlake is a professional working environment. As such we ask for your help in adhering to the following dress code:
- Shirts must have sleeves. No tank tops or halter tops.
- Volunteers who come inappropriately dressed will be asked to change before beginning their volunteer assignment.
- Pants must be in good condition with no rips or frays.
- Pants or shirts should not allow your midsection to show.
- Shorts are acceptable for some assignments. Please check with your work site supervisor.
- Wear shoes that are appropriate for your volunteer assignment. No flip flops.
- No sleepwear or exercise clothing.
- No hats indoors.
- No clothing with alcohol or tobacco advertising or offensive language.
- If you have piercings or tattoos please maintain a modest appearance.
- If you are working in an office please plan to dress in business casual.
