Purpose 


Students and Parents Against Risks to our Kids (S.P.A.R.K.) with its mission of sparking ideas, sharing information, identifying needs, educating the community, mobilizing resources, promoting collaboration and advocating for sound public policy in a new commitment to empower our citizens in the battle against underage drinking, drugs, and internet perils.
 

 

Meetings


SPARK meetings take place on the fourth Tuesday of the month.  Check the City's web calendar for time and location.
 

Members



SPARK is chaired by City Councilmember Laura Hill.  Presently our members include parents, teens, school board members, school counselors and public safety officers, members of our worship community, family therapists, attorneys, drug and alcohol counselors and representatives from Southlake Police services.  Meetings are open to all who are interested to attend.  SPARK welcomes you whether you can only attend an occasional meeting, or want to get heavily involved in making a change for our youth.
