Sector Planning
The city has been divided into 8 sectors (areas) to facilitate the planning process. The purpose of a sector plan is to establish a detailed background for the planning area, identify current development constraints and issues, identify features, resources, and areas to be protected or improved, explore development opportunities within the study area, and make recommendations for the future development of the area. The Land Use Plan Committee oversees the development of the sector plans and they recently completed the North Sector Plan. They are currently working on the West Sector Plan and the Southeast Sector Plan. Please follow the links below for more information on the sector plans.
