Wayfinding Request for Proposals

On April 20, 2010, Southlake's City Council passed Ordinance No. 967, the City of Southlake Wayfinding Sign System Plan, a component of the Southlake 2030 comprehensive plan.  The purpose of a wayfinding sign system in Southlake includes: promoting tourism; emphasizing Southlake as a destination; highlighting key attractions; enhancing urban design; reinforcing community identity; enhancing the visitor’s experience; reducing driver and pedestrian frustration; improving traffic flow; and improving roadway safety.  The City of Southlake recently posted a Request for Proposals to find an experienced and dependable sign manufacturer/fabricator that can aid the City in implementing the Wayfinding Sign System Plan.  The deadline for responses to the Request for Proposals has passed and the City is currently reviewing responses.  For informational purposes, the Request for Proposals is available below:
